The People’s Budget LA Coalition is working year round to inform the budget process as well as to advise the implementation of legislation. Our city’s budget is an active document and it can be changed throughout the year.

Current Priorities
Vote Yes on Measure J
Our current policy focus is getting the Reimagine LA ballot measure passed this November 3. Measure J would guarantee that a percentage of LA County’s funding every year gets allocated to community investment and alternatives to incarceration.
You can help by spreading the word on social media, joining a text bank or getting involved in a workgroup. And of course, vote Yes on Measure J!
