Los Angeles, CA - Black Lives Matter-Los Angeles and the People’s Budget LA Coalition has been sounding the alarm about backwards budgeting for years, calling city leadership to divest from the racist system of policing and invest in resources that address the root causes of poverty and crime.
This Saturday, March 26 2022, 3-6pm, Black Lives Matter- Los Angeles and the People’s Budget LA Coalition will host an in-person candidate forum for Los Angeles City Candidates at Africa Town in Leimert Park Plaza to discuss critical issues facing Black people and Los Angeles at large.
